Hello! Thanks for stopping by today!
I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend.
We watched a few hours of 24 with our "24 groupies," had a fun little BBQ with some friends,
and had a nice dinner with family Sunday night. I have some family back in town,
so it was great to be with them again. Oh, and we watched the most beautiful
summer storm roll in. The lightning and thunder had quite the performance.
I've mentioned before how I love Canadian House & Home Magazine.
Well, Emily Walker, who is a designer in the House & Home merchandise department,
has such a fun and inspiring home. Emily transformed this 900 square foot bungalow into
her dream home with her partner, Mark Holden. They did an excellent job,
used quite a bit of creativity, and incorporated a fantastic mix of color and pattern
against soft neutral grays and fresh whites.
I've been so inspired by these photos of their living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
I love her choice in palette. The gray is so classy and timeless, the purple is a punch of funky fun,
and the yellow is bright and happy. Then is is all balanced and grounded with the white!
Wow! I just adore it!
