Baby Shower for Brooke

This shower was given at the end of August, and I finally downloaded my pictures... aren't I great! :)
Brooke, I'm very sorry! Please forgive!  I'm so excited for Baby G's new bestie to be born! :) And I'm so excited for Brooke and Jared! Luvs!
So, we had a family baby shower and I found this funtastic idea from the Cookie Nesting Blog (which by the way, my fav mommy mag is Cookie, and I've heard it is closing shop!:(  Why are all the best magazine's leaving us?)
So, we gave the iron-on onesies a whirl and it turned out great!  Everyone at the party made a special onesie for the sweet babe.   Here are some of the material samples that we had out to choose from.  Instead of printing patterns from the internet, like the original directions suggested to do, I used a collection of cookie cutters that the guests were able to trace.  It worked out great and after a little trial and error, became super easy.

I hung the onesies on a little line with close pins,
an idea that I got from Pam and Mollie when we had Lena's shower.
Here is Brooke and I working on a onesie

Charming Weddings

And since we are on the topic of weddings, I love to check out erin hearts court's blog.  Their photography and talent is so amazing and unique, and they post some wonderful examples of their work on their blog.  It is just fun to check it out, but I have to say one of my favs was the Kelly + Chris in Palm Springs.  That couple chose some of the most unique and charming flowers, colors, and ideas for their amazing wedding!  Here are just a few of the great pics...

don't you just love her colors? bouquet? food? How adorable!

More Cake Love...

This is the greatest site for some serious "eye candy," or should I say "eye sweet heaven!"  Sarah Magid is amazing and she has a lovely book that I'm tempted to buy just to look at.  I mean seriously, like I'd ever be able to make such a beautiful cake.

And to go along with those darling invites... how about some lovely wedding cakes!  Wouldn't it be so fun to plan a wedding all over again?.  How fun would it be to be a wedding planner? What a fun dream job!

Framed Wallpaper

My camera is still in the camera hospital, so these pics are a little on the sketchy side, but here are the other examples of wallpaper that I framed and hung in my home. I mentioned in my last post on framed wallpaper that I'd show you the other examples I had in my home.  I also purchased these two designs from Walls: The Colour Store, which is the same location that I purchased the blue and silver print.
