Babble Beach Guide + Whistle Bag

A big THANKS to Stephanie for including our Whistle Bag in her Summer Beach Guide.
The Whistle Bag really does make the perfect beach bag... I've put it to the test!
We also have some other great canvas bags that I think are pretty functional and fun.
Check out the rest of Stephanie's beach guide at Babble.

French Breton Striped Shirt

Found this fantastic mosaic post over on Completely Coastal!
I've always been a fan of the blue-and-white striped sailor shirt.
Coco Chanel is given credit for introducing the old Brenton styled French sailor shirt to
the fashion world in 1917...
It is amazing how long this look has persisted in the fashion world,
and JCrew has adopted it whole-heartedly!

Still lovin' this Stripe Sequin Boatneck shirt from JCrew.

Fantasizing: a day at the spa + beach= perfection!

I couldn't help but share this lovely inspiration board.
Just looking at it is relaxing....ahhh!
This must have taken forever to create, but it is beautiful.
One of my favorite things to do is go to the spa or have a relaxing getaway with friends.
Camille from Style Notes, created this Fantasy to FĂȘte series
for Coco+Kelley the other day.
Camille, you put together an amazing inspiration board.
We were right on the same wave of dreaming...

Right now, I am fantasizing about being on a beach, with crashing waves,
peace & quite,
no screaming, fighting, cleaning, organizing.
Nothing
but...

reading and finishing this book,

listening to some good music.

 and enjoying the sun.

Mediterranean Palette

I adore the use of a Mediterranean palette.  Emerald green, rich turquoise, and deep marine blue are so beautiful together. It is like a mixture of sea glass.  Using this mix, whether as the the entire palette of a room, or as a color punch, it is fun, exotic, and chic.
