Love List

I'm always one for anything patriotic.  Love this twist on a blanket
Patriotic and fashionable!
I adore the color combo of tan, yellow, and aqua.

 European Vintage Soda Bottles.
What a fun vintage item to use anywhere in the home.

Blue Beach Glass Bath Accessories
These are so perfect for a bathroom, but then again,
I could see the canisters in a kitchen too.
Love the beach glass look and the apothecary style jars.

If you have some serious state pride, then these darling pillows are perfect!
From the cute Etsy shop: Love, California.
How cute would these be for a gift if someone is moving or graduating?

I would have put a picture of UTAH up, had she had a picture of one....
I bet she is just trying to fill those orders and is too busy to put up Utah, right? ;)
If she does not have your state, you can always make requests.

Jennifer Aniston: Architectural Digest

Photos by Scott Frances of AD
First off, let me just say I am not one to obsess over "stars."  Having said that....if I had to say which "star" I did love, it would be Jennifer Aniston. I had been waiting for my Architectural Digest to arrive for days, so the other night, when the hubby and I were watching our beloved "Lost," I just couldn't focus.
I just wanted to read my mag and look at what Jennifer did with her home!
Nice job Jen!
Unique. Rich colors. Nice rock work. Lovely, and quite the entertaining home.

I was very surprised with what she did.  I don't know what I was expecting, but this just wasn't what I thought she would do.  I'm not saying I didn't like it!  I'm just surprised.  It looks to me like this would be the perfect entertaining home!  There could be some serious parties to be had here.  With the amazing pool and balcony, I would LOVE to hang at your home with you Jen, any time!  I'm just saying.....
I don't know if I can get over the view and balcony!
Look how lovely it would be to wake-up in that bed, with that view!
Spectacular!

Coastal Living February Issue

I'm Dreaming of a tropical place right now!  Could I  go here? Please!
My bags could be packed in 10 min.'s. Serious....
When I first saw these pics on Two Ellie, I immediately fell in love.
It doesn't take a lot for me to fall in love with a beautiful home,
but add a little sun and palm trees and I'm all yours.
I just adore this house featured in the Coastal Living February issue.

Designer Highlight: Kishani Perera

I am in love with designer Kishani Perera's work.
AMAZING! Love it!
She has a very sophisticated and traditional style, yet modern and eclectic.

Love this gallery of black mirrors.

Beautiful Baby Nurseries

Baby Nurseries, I think, are hard to design.  I don't like a my baby room to be too cutesy.
I love a nursery that can grow with a child and one that is functional.
I also love fun color mixes. For example, the green and orange is so happy and unique for a baby room.
I also love the black, white, and yellow.  How interesting to put stripes on the ceiling.
I love it!

both of these via the late Domino

I love objects in the room that you normally would not use:
the wooden ladder or the greenery above.

Love these Nurseries from Serena and Lily. In fact, I'm in love with all their bedding.

This darling Nursery is found on a new-to-me children site called Kenziepoo.

These three pics are also found via Kenziepoo. I just love the colors used and the fun walls.

Here are a few more pics from my Nursery Love file, however, sadly enough did not keep the links.
I really am trying to be better about that.
Maybe, I'll take some pics of Baby G's Nursery and post those soon.

My Basement Bathroom

Here are a few pics from my basement bathroom. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
Weird...I know....It's a bathroom.  But, when I take a little risk in design or color, I'm always nervous to see how everything will come together.  It's nice when it turns out the way I was hoping it would.
