Cake Pops Recipe Book by Bakerella

This has got to be the best treat book ever!
Now I'm all about a yummy cupcake with delicious frosting...
but these Cake Pops happen to be a new fave of mine!
This Cake Pops Book  is darling and scrumptious and so fun for both adults and kids.
I love the photography and organization of the book and think it has
great ideas for a either a little activity or a big party.

Some of my fave ideas:

Sweet Heart Pops: perfect for Valentines!
Pirate Pops: Great for my son's next birthday party
Game Ball Pops: I think I'll take some to my son's Basketball Game
Owls: I can't wait to make with my daughter...she'll love them
Sweet Snowmen: my kids loved, loved, loved making and eating these! We had a nice little activity during a cold, snowy day.

DIY Valentine Ideas that are Naturally Sweet

These DIY Fruit Valentine Stickers are over the top cool! I didn't think there was any way Kathleen from Twig & Thistle could top her DIY V-Day bags last year, but she did. Luckily, she is super kind and made these so you and I can print these stickers off ourselves and put them to go use.
I can't wait to use them with my kid's lunch.  Awww! I can just see the smile on their faces now. :) She made stickers for apples, pears, oranges, bananas, passion fruit, blue berries and a general one for everything else! Enjoy! I know I will! :)
Other Valentine ideas I shared last year are found here and here.

I just ordered these white bags so I can do this fun DIY project/gift for Valentines.
You can download this design and print it onto bags, then fill with
cookies, muffins, a handmade card, or whatever!
Isn't that a fun idea? I love it!  I found this on the Twig and Thistle blog.

Amy Atlas and her Sweet Designs

I love taking a little visit to the Sweet Designs blog and adore the work of Amy Atlas.
Seriously.
She is incredibly talented and amazing.
Just check out these Valentine themed dessert tables she did for Better TV.
Photographs by Belathee Photography

are you in love with her yet?
I'm sure I would love these desserts....
but, I'm also lovin' this darling airplane themed party she planned.
When I see these pics, I am ashamed at my lack of motivation to plan such adorable events
for my adorable children.
Amy, I think you've inspired me.  Now, could you come help me?

Marshmallow hearts & Hot Coco

It is time to start planning for Valentines. Can't wait to do some fun crafts with the kiddos.
These darling Valentine Ideas are all found on Martha Stewart.

I heart breakfast, so this year, I think I'll do these cute heart shaped pancakes.
For our wedding, we received a heart shaped ceramic pan.  For the the last 8 years, I have made heart-shaped brownies for Valentines....
It is now tradition.
